Other “stuff” the heart does

Lots of talk about heart disease and heart attacks, but Dallas researchers are looking into another aspect of the cardiovascular system: how it helps the body cool itself, which is something lots of Texas folks might have an interest in these days. Interestingly, their findings might help medics better care for soldiers wounded in battle and might help doctors better understand why people with cardiac problems have a hard time dealing with hot weather.
